Ohhhhhhhhhh, if you were not here on Wednesday for DJ A8's set you really missed it!!! omg, it was great!!! I am pretty sure that his record collection is a never ending stack!!!
 Hmmmmmm, the style I would say was techhouse. But you know Altern8, always playing with our minds and senses with his sets!! Best I can remember he played some nice smooth jazzy sounds, then some pure techno tunes, then we had some "classic A8" and then he played some dnb (totally kick ass tunes!!), and then onto some acid (woooooot!!!!!) and if that wasn't enough he then decided treat us to some of the Shamen's!!! Damn good listening for sure!!! Watch for his next set next Wednesday at 3 pm slt at HOME. And you can also find him playing other places too. Everytime is pure listening pleasure and makes a great party for sure!! What a fantastic treat this set was!!! Thank you A8!!!  And then a Wednesday surprise appearance by Allen Drumheller!!! OMFG!! Allen, Allen, Allen!!! He was not merciful, he slammed us with a wonderful techhouse set!! And to go along with it, he had us giggling away at times with his quick witted humor!!! hehehe!! His sounds were commanding, powerful and irresistable!!! You all know those times when something just whisks you away?? Well, this night and this music was one of those times for us all. Totally lost in an ocean of music, immersed in the sounds, body moving just right and nothing else matters for that time!! I encourage you all to catch Allen's next set (hopefully at HOME) wherever and whenever he plays!! Thank you Allen, so much!!! And again, thank you all for coming HOME!!! It's Wednesday!!!! Hump Day!!!! And time for A8 to treat us to his wonderful music!!!
And of course, once again I cannot say what he will be playing!! It's always a surprise to me (maybe to him too, lol), but whatever he plays it's going to be amazing and you can count on that!! Be sure to come and join us at HOME at 3 pm slt, bring your friends and let's blow the roof off of HOME!!!! Looking forward to seeing you all at HOME for this party!! Open Tuesday's at HOME seems like a big success!! Thanks to the great DJ's and all of you who come to the club!!!
It's very interesting to listen to several people play their music in a short timespan. And it's also a lot of fun to party with new people!! Everyone is welcome HOME!!! So tonight we had another great night!!! Excellent music and a really fun party!! We started off with a very sweet, but energetic minimal set by DJ Cool Zeno from Germany!!! It definately was not a typical "minimal" set and DJ Cool is one of those DJ's that you have to hear for yourself. He was very consistant and had a really nice "peppy" sound!! I loved it and so did the crowd!! Look for his name and catch a set of his when you can, I know that I definately will!! Thank you so much DJ Cool!! Next up was DJ Goodes Bade from Portugal!! I hate categorizing the style of the DJ and their music, since there are so many definitions and some are broad but some are very narrow, and so I hope that I get this right. I would say that DJ Goodes played a great minitekk (minimal techno) set for us tonight. And in just one hour he managed to treat our senses to a vast array of music!! Soooooooo good, really entertaining and he kept our attention, great sounds to dance to as well!! And again, watch for DJ Goodes and party with him when you get the chance. I can tell you for certain that he definately is a crowd pleaser!! Thank you DJ Goodes!! Finishing up our night was DJ Frederick Heberle of Switzerland!! He played us a fantastic techno/electro set!!! I like to call what he does "suspension music", and of course you are wondering what the heck does she mean by that?? What I mean is that DJ Frederick's tunes make you hold your breath to hear what is coming next. He caught us up in his tunes and kept us inside the music with his fantastic sounds!! And yes, you know what I will say next, but I have to because it is true: watch for DJ Frederick and catch his sets when he plays!! I definately will be!! Thank you DJ Frederick!! It's so hard to pick a favorite night or party, but I will say that Open Tuesday is a lot of fun for me. I can tell by the reactions of all of you, that it is a lot of fun for you too!!! And I am so glad of that!! And btw, if you know of a DJ who hasn't played at HOME yet, please have him or her contact me so we can have a listen to them!! Thank you DJ Cool, DJ Goodes and DJ Frederick. And thank you all too!! It was a really great party and I so look forward to next Open Tuesday!! Oooohhh, and next time you see Paridise or Minimal ask them what happened after everyone left, lol!! I am still laughing, hahaha!!

I never thought that I would say this, but Monday is fast becoming one of my favorite days of the week!!! Bib, thank you for your music and your sweetness!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! Nearly time for another Open Tuesday here at HOME!!!
This week we have a slight change in the times, and will be starting at 3:00 pm slt. There will be three DJ's who will each play a one hour set. For those of you who don't know about this event, here's a summary for you!!! Open Tuesday at HOME is the night that we are able to listen to DJ's who have not yet played at HOME. Some of them you may have heard at other clubs, and others may be playing in sl for the very first time!! This started out as an experiment for us. And it has been so successful that we have made it a regular event. Very happy about that!! It's a really interesting party all of the time. Usually the DJ's are from all parts of the world, and each has their own unique style or sound. Here is the lineup for this Open Tuesday: 3:00 pm slt/pdt: Cool Xeno from Germany (minimal, electrohouse) 4:00 pm slt/pdt: Goodes Bade from Portugal (minimal-tekk) 5:00 pm slt/pdt: Frederick Heberle from Switzerland (minimal, electro) So there you have it!!! We will be so happy to see you all at HOME!!! PARTY!!!!!!!!

I hope you had a great weekend!!!
Thursday we partied at CClub reopening, and it was also DJMuekas' birthday. So it was quite a celebration!! Many of you joined us there!! We had a great time!! Welcome back CClub and Happy Birthday DJMuekas!! Friday, we had a night off!! Had some work to do both rl and sl and didn't plan anything, and actually I was in bed quite early (can you believe it?!?!?!). Saturday Altern8 played at the Relay for Life (supports cancer research) and all tips were donated to the Relay!! A lot of money has been collected so far. And if I have my information correctly there is media coverage in rl of the Relay for Life events in sl. And Sunday, found us tired and with piles of rl bills, chores and laundry to do!! YUCK!!! lol I guess it has to be done sometime though!!! I would much rather be having a party though!!! hehe!!Okay so now we will be on a regular schedule: Monday: MONDAY'S HATE YOU party!!! Always fantastic!! times vary but around 1 pm slt, watch for the notices (we usually don't finish until around 9 pm slt) Tuesday: OPEN TUESDAY party!!! 3 pm slt, and there will be three different DJ's playing whatever style of electronic music that they want to for one hour each!! Wednesday: Altern8 plays at 3 pm slt, and an occasional surprise appearance from special guests (usually before he plays, but you never know, always a surprise when it's a surprise!!) Thursday: our work around HOME night, so no party usually!!  Friday: 3 pm slt or so, I will plan for someone to play!! Saturday: 3 pm slt until about 9 pm slt we will have a party!!! Sunday: an occasional surprise party!!! That's a brief schedule for you, and of course always subject to change but that's the plan for now. So many of you have requested a schedule of events so you can plan and I sure hope that this helps you!! And of course HOME is always open to you even when there is no DJ playing. There is always music playing and of course different rooms to explore. Check out the HOME park next door, very peaceful!! Don't miss the record room, it's great!!
