 Yeah, yesterday was one of those days where nothing was planned at HOME. Personally I love those days most, cuz it gives us the possibility to play around - musicwise. So we did a Lazy Sunday. Humble and me did those parties back in the 90s in RL as well, where we took our soundsystem, a crate of beer and lots of records to play on a field, having ppl around, just listening to music. So we decided to do it yesterday, too and it was a very nice evening. First I played for like the first three hours a little bit of a freestyle set, no typical A8 sound (if there is any). Everything was in it: from Dubstep to Acid from Ambient to Hardcore. Looking at the ppl around I knew that won't be a problem at all. Anyway, ppl attending a Lazy Sunday know that everything can happen. So after me Humble Pinion took over the decks, which was great, cuz I haven't heard him playing since we tag teamed on 1st of January. And wow - this set really blew off my mind. Talking to him afterwards he told me he was sooo unprepared. Maybe he should be - always. Well in the end he had no luck at all. He was not able to receive the warm thank you he was supposed to get, because the ISP around here had some major problems and we both were suddenly offline, leaving the party guests alone. Sorry for that, blame it on our ISP. And suddenly u realize that this is just virtual. Humble kept on playing for another 20 minutes, there was still a chance to get back online. Hello All,
long time no entry and well, this one is not really HOME related but fun anyway. There is a service which lets u upload songs and then u can add Cowbells to it (Well, and a little bit Christopher Walken). It is possible cuz they use a software which analyzes the song and fills in some bells. Don't beleive it? Then check out wut I made with Herbie Hancocks Rock it. Have fun!

Maybe you already noticed. But we are trying to establish the Fridays as the Acid day for all you Acid lovers out there. Acid is hardly heard in SL and even in RL it is hard to find a good Acid party. Everyone loves Acid (ok, I know this is not true), but speaking with the DJs here in SL, many of them got plenty of old and new Acid tracks at home.
So tonight we got Kemmi Kamachi as our guest. I mean, if you know Kemmi, you also know that he mainly plays Minimal in SL. But tonight, as a special surprise, he looked all the way back in his amazing record collection and found those Acid tunes. We are very excited about that. It will be a great thing for sure. Kemmi starts at 5PM. As Kemmis warmup Altern8 McMillan will spin some of his Acid tunes. He starts at 3PM.  Looking forward to c ya Acid Heads. It's a recording of his set played on April 14th while he was part of the Monday hates you crew playing at HOME. Even if it is 1.5 months ago I can remember that day.
